Compliance workflows

Make progress
part of the routine.

Useful compliance operations are built from repeatable actions: assign the work, review the result, record the decision and follow up when something changes.

Make the process repeatable

Automation starts with a workflow people can follow.

A system is only useful when its records and responsibilities match the way your organization operates. Define the action, owner, reviewer, timing and expected record before adding more tools.

01

Give each task an owner

Keep responsibility for control and vendor records understandable.

02

Separate review from approval

Maintain policy revisions and require an authorized approver who is not the current author.

03

Keep review outcomes

Record access review decisions and follow-up actions in the workspace.

What works in Auditstead

A structured workspace for records and review.

The current client app supports control tracking, vendor records, policy revision and approval, membership management, access reviews and an audit history. The team makes the assessment and records the work.

01

Organization-scoped access

Workspace data is separated by organization, with role-based actions and required multi-factor authentication.

02

Reviewable changes

Key workspace actions are recorded in an append-only activity history.

Automation boundaries

No connector or evidence automation is live today.

Auditstead does not currently connect to third-party systems, collect evidence automatically, scan cloud configurations, monitor employee devices or generate AI assessments. Evidence uploads remain disabled while scanning and independent backup controls are completed.

01

Keep responsibility with the team

Your organization still designs, operates and monitors its controls.

02

Treat the auditor as independent

Auditstead organizes readiness work; an independent CPA firm determines and reports on an examination.

Good questions

A few things to know.

Clear answers make it easier to decide what belongs in your process.

Does compliance automation mean no human work?

No. Tools can structure and record activities, but people remain responsible for evaluating risk, operating controls, reviewing results and acting on exceptions.

What does Auditstead automate today?

The current product provides controlled workspace workflows for membership, policy approval, access review, record management and audit history. It does not automatically gather third-party evidence.

Can I upload evidence now?

Evidence uploads are disabled until quarantine, malware scanning, validation and independent storage backup are operational.
